Do you have more pics of the cage? So few cars have cages so I'm always curious how each one was done? Was it bolt in or weld? Custom or kit? Was any trim permanently removed (doesn't look it)?

I'll look for more pics. This was a custom cage that is bolted in. No trim removed at all, which was a requirement I gave the shop when they made it.

New Price
Saw a 997 GT3 for sale. May want to make a change. Looking for $35k as is. If there are any mods you're not interested in let me know and maybe we can remove to adjust the price.

Thinking about putting her up for sale again. Car now has 60k miles. Recent upgrades: Rims are advan rs with toyo r888s and PFC front big brake kit. I also bought a mason engineering metal clutch pedal that I've yet to install.
No rush or desperation. If someone loves her as much as I do, I may have to part ways with her. |

Going to Palm Beach International Raceway Saturday, with performance driving group. If anyone is interested in attending, it would be a great way to feel the car and it's potential. Shoot me a pm of you are.

Well, went to PBIR but not with the Z4. Apparently you are supposed to break in new rod bearings. Also had to use the stock rod bolts as those that ARP sold me were the wrong size. Interesting tidbit, the bolts they sell work for early m3 with s54, but in 04 the bolt type changed. They do not have bolts that work with the z4 s54 application.
On a side note, the 981 was a lot of fun on the track. More so than I thought. |
