BMW OEM rear carbon diffuser

I was looking for this part -51710410384- and i was wondering if i can install it to my Z4 M roadster. Cause i was looking for it at realOEM.com (something like that ) and it shows only Z4 3.0 2.0 etc. not Ms. Also the price is around 700$? Any pics?

it will not fit without modification. i have this part and it only has a single exhaust cutout for the left side. others have modified it fit for a dual by cutting out a 2nd opening on the right side but it's a matter of how comfortable you are with that.

i bought mine for a little over $500 from tischer (getbmwparts.com)

this member here cut his out:

The OEM part number 51710410384 which is the carbon diffuser for rear apron fits all BMW E85 (all years), not only from 01/2006 onwards. I've compared both pre-facelift and facelift aprons' models to make sure they typically mount similarly. I've ordered one for my 2005 BMW E85 Z4 3.0i. You just have to mark the cutting line on the apron and take all necessary measurements before cutting it for real.

That looks great. If it had a cf spoiler as well it would look amazing.
Loving the exhaust tips as well - they stick out nice and far.

Please post some pics once you install the CF diffuser. I've been debating this same mod for awhile now. Thx

Sure thing but it's gonna take a while (around 2 months) to get it, fit it and take some shots.

Actually I've spotted a link where it shows the OEM carbon diffuser on a pre-facelift E85.

P.S. It is perfectly fit but there's just a tiny empty space on the corners which don't affect the look at all.

Maybe I haven't read all the thread, but the placement of the 2 dual exhaust on the pics of the Z4s isn't the same as with our Z4Ms, right?

Bump... Can anyone verify this?

Is the existing cutout the proper measurements for the Z4M exhaust?

I think it would be, because the rear cans are interchangeable between Ms and non Ms.

so i would assume that the exhaust cut out is the same location for M and non M.

Only way to install it on a Z4M is to buy a non-M bumper and cut out both the bumper and the CF diffusor. The CF diffusor doesn't fit on the Z4M rear bumpers.

Okay now I want one of these too. It's now on "the list". I bet my wife will be happy about that.
