Any indepenpendent bmw shops in cincinnati
Well, I tried to fix a 2008 BMW Z4si but I cannot. The DSR light is in yellow along with the brake light, in yellow, and now the AIR Bag light is in in red. The airbag light is because I took it off. I even bought a Foxwell BMW scanner. I have used Enthusiast Motors before, but they are somewhat expensive, but their work is great. With my BMW, I have a "Champagne taste on a beer budget."

I always had my Z4 serviced at "Just BlauMitWeiss" on Highland Avenue (at Ridge).
513.271.5878. They are BMW experts (as the name implies) and provide excellent service at reasonable prices. |

In the end, I'm going back to Enthusiast. Next week I take the car in. They know BMW's like all the rest, friendly, and it is the place I took my 128i too. The big plus, they are close by. I have never had a car I could not work on mechanically and the BMW is no exception. It is different nowadays as cars are driven by computers FIRST mechanics SECOND! The computers use other computers all in a row so one thing affects other parts of the car. Therein lies the problem. At 73, I'm not computer-literate at all! I spun wrenches not mouse and keyboards and now I am dependent on those who know this stuff! And knowledge has a price. I will say I am not against technology; it has gone by me!

EAG. The only place I'd go if I lived in Cincy.

EAG has my Z4 and it is the Steering Angle Sensor, OUCH! The whole steering assembly has to come out because it is 360 degrees on the shaft and labor is as much as the part! Quoted $1,200 and I get it back today. I will have to learn to drive the car all over again because the car pulled to the right all the time! I was told that the Z4 was the first BMW to have electric steering! Is that true? I have had the car since October 5, '23 about 750 miles and it has been in the shop twice! And it only has 42K on it! Love the car, but is it too expensive to maintain? Only I can answer that question! For sure this is:
BM"WKRP in Cincinnati"!!

Yep and far better feel in a lot of opinions than what’s in bmws now. Though plenty of skeptics when it first came out. The Z4M is hydraulic though to add. There’s even a member here who made mention he had no idea until popping the hood and seeing there’s no tank when doing fluid changes. If I’m not mistaken the E82 was the last of the hydraulic steering.
