FS: Stainless Steel License Plate Screws

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 2.00

Item Interest
Got tired of having to replaced rusty screws that would eventually get stripped. Won't mention names but vendors offer stainless steel hex screws at $1/each plus shipping. I bought a min batch of hex stainless screws (made in USA) that I can resell to folks here. Not looking to make a profit, just want to deplete my stock.

$2.25 shipped for a set of 4 to anywhere in 48 states, $3.25 shipped to our friends in Canada. I have 8mm screws for those who don't run a license plate frame and longer 12mm screws for those who do run a frame.

Note: These are for the rear plate. Haven't confirmed fitment for front since I don't run a front plate but I imagine it'd be the same.

Probably "long". I have a frames on both ends.
I'll see if I can get around to measuring them tonight.

Update: The ones I currently have are 12mm.
Holy rats. According to Lowes.com, I did pay $2 each for these.
And they rusted.

And why did I pay $2 each for Zinc-Plated when I could have gotten stainless for $0.85 each.

I actually went to HD and Lowes to see what they had. Their tray of screws was raided so bad I couldn't find anything. Hence the bulk order I put in online lol.

Can you confirm 12mm worked well with a standard license plate frame?

Yep. I pulled one out and measured it.
JPL frame shown in avatar. It's fairly thick.
What did you have in mind for "long" and "short"?
