Swapped out OEM HID lens for ZKW replica lens!

The lighting improvement for me was very dramatic! I took a bunch of video of the swap that I could post as a DIY if anyone is interested. I did NOT have to remove the headlights from my car. I highly recommend this 40 dollar mod! It was pretty easy to do! If you take your time it is 1hr per side.

Here is where I ordered them. http://shop.lightwerkz.net/Clear-Lenses They are the ZKW-R 3" lenses.

Dubsesd I knew you'd be interested. Definitely no need to crack our headlights open or even remove them from the car.

Is this a halogen upgrade? I hate the standard headlights on the 3.0si. They lack power

Edit : never mind I just realized it's for the HID lights.

Sorry no before and after pics but they are at least twice as bright. Last week I also got new Philips bulbs. My car might have had the original bulbs from the factory. With new bulbs and clear lens I saw a ~3 fold improvement, easily.

I must know how to do this. This is a must.

I have full lightwerkz modified projectors on my e46 and it's the one area my e46 kicks the ass out of my Z4M.

No change in light pattern. Just brighter and crisper cutoff.
