Wheel and Tire Sizing
Hi all,
I am debating ditching the stock 103 style rims and RFT for a custom set of rims and tires. I came across this table of sizes from an online site. Can anyone confirm that the bold face line will fit a 2004 E85 with stock suspension? Thanks Dave (E85) 16x7 47 205/55R16 16x7 47 205/55R16 BMW 16x7 47 225/50R16 16x7 47 225/50R16 BMW 17x8 47 225/45R17 17x8 47 225/45R17 BMW 17x8 47 225/45R17 17x8.5 50 245/40R17 BMW 17x8.5 40 225/45R17 17x8.5 40 225/45R17 Hartge 17x8.5 40 225/45R17 17x8.5 40 245/40R17 Hartge 18x8 47 225/40R18 18x8.5 50 255/35R18 BMW 18x8 47 225/40R18 18x9 48 255/35R18 Alpina 18x8.5 40 225/40R18 18x8.5 40 225/40R18 Hartge 18x8.5 40 225/40R18 18x8.5 40 255/35R18 Hartge 3 19x8 40 235/35R19 19x9 46 235/35R19 Hartge 3 19x8 40 235/35R19 19x9 46 265/30R19 Hartge 2,3,6 19x8.5 47 235/35R19 19x9 47 265/30R19 BMW 19x8.5 50 235/35R19 19x9.5 50 265/30R19 Alpina 19x9 46 255/30R19 19x9 39 255/30R19 Hartge 2,3,6,9 |

The best way to do it would be to confirm it yourself:
http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator The stock offsets are listed on here somewhere. You could experiment with some offsets that are known to work, figure out the extremes, and then bracket.
