OK, I have a 2006 M Roadster. I want to order the silver spoke covers. The problem is both L/H side and R/H side multi-function pods are also peeling the black stuff.
Now does anyone out there know if the multi-function pods are molded in black plastic?
If so, I could just peel it all off and give them a flat ish finish with a fine bead blast.

They are not black. The finish on one of mine got scratched and it is a white/milky color plastic with the black finish applied.

Does anyone know if I get a set of spoke covers does it come with the three spokes (front and back) as well as the button pod covers?

I took off my switch pods and removed the scratched rubber with a careful application of Goof Off.
They're shiny black now, which doesn't quite match the new black rubberized spoke covers, but they're not scratched any more, so it's an improvement.

OK, I know I can get silver colored plastic spokes for the steering wheel on my 2006 M roadster. Now, the multi-function button pods have the rubbery peely stuff on them too. My question is does anyone know if the M/F plastic pods are molded in black colored plastic? That way I could just peel the rubbery stuff off and leave them black.
Regards,
Bill

Yes, you can order a replacement set like I did with everything, but the bottom spoke requires a little trimming on the back side to make it fit flush. I have a different look than the rubbery M bottom spoke now, but I love the color (it's called graphite) ...... matches well with my interior and exterior, and best of all, no more sticky peeling rubbery madness
