Have always loved the 911 line since I was very young, still do. I find the Z4 coupe to be the sharpest car on the road today. If I could afford to have another Z4, I would have a coupe as a daily driver. Just a stunning looking car and there are very few to see.

And the redline in the S54 is 7900 rpm. You don't exactly get to 7900 rpm by mistake, or without noticing.
These days, over-revs come from missed down-shifts ("money-shifts") - unfortunately the rev-limiter doesn't help in those situations. That said, unlike when buying a Porsche, no-one seems to worry about trying to find out if this happened with BMWs. With Porsches, every potential buyer wants the DME report, which tells you the rev hx of the engine (range 1-6).

I was surprised at how tame it was cruising on the freeway, but it really gets it on 7/10-8/10.
The exhaust was stock and was fairly quiet, even under hard acceleration.
But my 993 has the fister stage III's, sounds like a 930 on decel.
Steering is totally different of course, but turn-in on the m coupe was terrific.
The suspension was stiffer than expected. I couldn't imagine putting on H&R coil overs . Pss10's maybe, a little less bouncy cruising and stiffer under hard cornering.
Engine sounds are awesome. Different from a flat 6 but tachs almost 1000 rpms higher....GT3 territory.
Cockpit orientation is very different, almost on rear axle, which explains slightly bouncy ride.
But I loved the car, I'm trying to decide if I should pull the trigger.
He's asking 35,000. Black sapphire black interior. No sat/nav
It's one or the other, can't have both. I think his price is a little high.
Thanks
Price is prob a bit high, but as has been pointed out these not exactly in abundance. What is up with the over-spray - accident?

The price does seem high. I paid less for a 2007 m with Premium, no Sat/Nav, and typical cosmetic wear.

$35k is way too strong for what you describe. That's a $31k-$32k car all day long. Especially with some overspray - what's the story there?

In case you haven't seen this, here's a great resource that will show you just about every Z4MC that's for sale in the country...
