FS: 2006 Z4 M Coupe Sepang Bronze
SOLD Car is sold. I'll let the new owner fess up when they are ready. ;-) VIN# 5UMDU93486LL93032 and ***CarFAX REPORT HERE*** Mileage: 53,850 miles (will update periodically) Exterior: Sepang Bronze Metallic (1 of 68 in North America), condition: 8.5 out of 10 Interior: Light Sepang Bronze extended Nappa Leather, condition: 9.5 out of 10 More Photos: Album HERE Overview Having two M Coupes seemed like a great idea, but things have changed in my life, and two two-doors does not a four-door make!
Maintenance History The prior owner bought this as a CPO car. I have his service records available and I have changed the oil+filter (myself, in April 2014 and at my local indy shop 11/24/14). I put new Michelin Pilot Super Sport XLs on it in May of 2014 (less than 1,000 miles on new tires). No other service has been required during my ownership, as I have put about 5,700 miles on it (updated 11/23/14 after I found original purchase mileage). The Condition This is a gorgeous car. I've detailed items here you may not normally see in an ad because I've been a member on this forum, and others, for a long time and plan to for some time (I am not selling my 2000 Z3 M Coupe EVER). I want to be clear about the condition of the car upfront. The car is in great shape, and maybe I'm being a stickler in pointing out these items, but here's the deal: 1) The prior owner did paintwork on the front, passenger side of the bumper/airdam and there is evidence of a small part of ground-off bodywork (that has been painted over). As part of the Pre-Purchase Inspection when I bought it, the dealership pointed this out, as well as the fact that the pop-up headlight washer cap was missing. I have paperwork detailing this that I am happy to share. Other records show a complaint about a loose bumper that was retightened. Bottom line on the above: This indicates the car either bumped into something, or was bumped into under the prior owner's watch/care. 2) I ordered and installed RPi Skid Plates for the "fangs" -- the fangs/front spoiler have minor damage from parking blocks/curbs. See HERE and HERE. 3) The passenger-side rear bumper has a ~1.5" light scratch. Not sure of origin or timing. It is through the paint. 4) The driver-side rear spoiler shows an area of overbuffing or some sort of hard-to-see scratch along the curve. Not sure of the origin or timing. It is through the clearcoat and color, but not the primer. 5) The steering wheel volume/control button area coating is peeling. Seems to be a common issue. 6) There are a few minor areas where road debris have impacted the paint, but nothing has gone to metal or past the primer. Bottom line on the above: I live in a city and drove the car on a few trips to Minneapolis, St. Louis and Milwaukee. Most miles were highway miles. This was not a total garage queen and I was unable to keep it 100% perfect. I am disclosing all of this here in good faith. The car will be sold as-is, as one would expect. Options*
*I am possibly willing to part out the mufflers, shift knob and section one as I have retained all OEM parts. All stock and aftermarket parts are included in sale if not parted out. It is winter, the car has had paintwork on the front bumper and I want to sell this soon, hence the low price. If you have any questions, please feel free to post here. If you want to make a reasonable offer on the car or the optional components, please PM me. If only our respective credit unions could just transfer the money and title electronically... Checks and such are literally in the mail, and then there is that painful wait for my credit union to send me the title so I can sign it over to the new owner and overnight it. I know the suspense and the wait can be painful. Still, I think it only appropriate for the new owner to confirm who they are when they feel like it -- it isn't my place to confirm nor deny identities here!!! Ha! I'll be sticking around the Z4 MC forums, I'm sure, but my passion and focus is still my 2000 Z3 M Coupe. You'll probably find me posting in those forums more often than here. Selling my 2006 was not an easy decision to make -- the S54 is such a work of art, and the car is gorgeous and unique. I'm very excited that the new soon-to-be-owner is a huge fan, not only of the car, but of Sepang Bronze. I just hope you Z4 M folks won't mind if I show up in my Z3 MC to the parties. |

Appreciate your discretion but yes I confess, it's me. Now just have to wait to get it out here. Hoping to be sitting behind that wheel again sometime the end of next week.

Fantastic news Nikki!
Welcome back. There is starting to be quite a list of us that have owned more than one of these Z machines.

The car is on its way to Nikki!
I have to admit, it was a little tough driving it to the pickup point for her transporter today. The car sounds SO DAMN GOOD with the DKF and Stromung goodies on it, and it is too gorgeous in Sepang... I better not start feeling massive regret. |
