buying very soon
Would an 06 m roadster with 16000 miles be worth 28000?
I'm tempted to buy it this week, and the bluebook retail on it is 34,325, while the Fair cond bluebook is 28000. I'm gonna have a PPI done of course, just wondering what it should be going for at that mileage. I've been looking for a coupe for a year, and the convertible itch just snuck up on me during a test drive. I don't have too much experience looking at roadster prices. Does anyone have experience with Bullet performance in costa mesa? http://www.bulletmotorworks.com/ I am most likely going to have them do the PPI. |

If it is in perfect condition and has had all maintenance (1200 mile service + 2 oil changes + 2 break fluid flushes), the price is reasonable. If there are any issues at all the price should drop accordingly. Don't know anyone in costa mesa, might want to search the regional forum and yelp.

Hmm, not sure about the 1200 mile service, looks like they did it at 6000 miles?

Mine was like that. It was barely driven for the first year then had the 1200 mile service done at 4K. I have not noticed any issues with mine. 28K seems fair to me if the car is pristine. Mine has 13,500 miles and I paid 29K two years ago.

Thank you all for the welcomes. I'm really excited.
Here's a preview pic I took for my gf... And one that I couldn't frame the whole car in: Yeah yeah, I really need to take some better pics. I'll get to it tomorrow. |

Huge congrats man. Welcome to the club!
If I had the means I'd go out and snatch up about four more of these to keep driving until I die.

Congrats on a great deal on a great car!
I will now begin counting down the seconds until the coupe guys start busting your balls about not having a metal roof!! They don't know what they're missing! You can't beat the vert on a beautiful day IMO! |

I have installed a ZHP shift knob and a dice silverline duo so far...oh and I replaced the passenger side cupholder since it was broken.
