Z4m + genuine CSL + spacer help please!!

hey guys,

anyone added a spacer on the front with CSL rims (8.5" remember)? if so what size did you use and did you get any rubbing on full compression at all? or if anyones got any advice on this subject i would really appreciate it!!
from the limited info i can find it seems maybe a 12mm spacer will be the best option? heellpp!

What is the offset of a OEM CSL wheel? I run a 15mm on my OEM ZCPs but they are only a 8.0" front and I think also a less aggressive offset then the CSL

Offset and confirmation of the 8.5" width are necessary.

ECE CSL...

8.5" x 19" et44 = front
9.5" x 19" et27 = rear

USA ZCP...

8.0" x 19" et47 = front
9.5" x 19" et27 = rear

Compared to the stock Style 224M on our Z4M (18x8 ET42):
- your CSL wheels (19x8.5 ET44) will extend outwards by 4mm
- your CSL + 12.5mm spacer will extend out 16.5 mm

Compared to F360C's set up (ZCP plus 15mm)
- your CSL wheels will retract by 6MM
- your CSL + 12.5mm spacer wll extend by 6.5 mm

I think a 10mm spacer will be just right. It will be equivalent to having a 8.5 ET35, which is a commonly used witdh/offset for aftermarket wheels for Z4Ms.

thankyou...... im struggling to find a true hubcentric 10mm spacer.... everyone that sells them has alittle side note that a 10mm spacer maybe cause vibration due to not sitting flush on the hub.... they ALL say a 12mm spacer and above do not suffer this problem. so unfortunatly it seems a 12mm is a must to get correct seating for safe use.

I have 10mm hubcentric spaces which I bought from Rogue Engineering.

Here you'll see "10MM" stamped on the spacer itself and it's definitely hubcentric:

Found a solution?

I run them with 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 Michelin PS2's and a 10 mm spacer. Without lowering no problem. I've fitted a KW V3 coilover-kit and lowered 3.5 cm. Set the damping to "extremely hard". Rubbing as h*ll in the front, but it drives sσσσσσ nice!

i went with a 12mm spacer which looks so agreesive, looks perfect imo...... im on stock suspension so no probs at all.......

when i get coilovers i want STOCK ride height, ill dial in some camber, perfect....

every single vendor i contacted said 10mm spacers on a bmw is a bad idea... the hubcentric lip extends 11mm which causes a gap between spacer and hub.........
also i now have my BBK installed and i like the extra caliper clearance the 12mm gives me.

did you get any pics with the rims off and the spacer installed?? would like to see how it all fits together in the 10mm size.

check out tuners site under 10mm spacers, on bmw its causes a small gap between the hub and spacer, its not completely flush....
