I should be spraying clearcoat on a roof Saturday. Once cured and polished I'll snap some shots of it on and off the car before I box it up to ship for everyone to view.
Price points for the roofs in basic trim are posted on the first page of this thread and the "Official CF Roof thread". If you have trouble finding it, let me know and I'll pull it up.

Congratulations on your coupe! Your going to love it. Hardly a day passes without others taking notice too!

The draw to this mod is several points. Aside from NOT being simply a form copy as all have been prior, this is a fully engineered part that has many +'s. Here are Eight to get started....

1)-Lighter weight at the highest point of the car. Lower center of gravity,faster corner entry speeds etc.
2)-Does not dent. Aluminum dents easily and does not repair well.
3)-More rigid than OEM by some margin.
4)-Honeycomb option add even more rigidity and safety.
5)- Heavier Kevlar option adds even more protection.
6)-Honeycomb option paired with heat rejection cools overhead temps by up to an additional 30*F.
7)- Optional Honeycomb reduces cabin reflective and ambient noise considerably.
8)- For Cars that track with roll bars and no headliner, they will have a really cool view of the engineered CF substructure if they have full options. The headliner unfortunately hides this for street cars.

The OEM aluminum roof weighs in near 20lbs. I can make these either 7,8 or 9lbs depending on the build options.
The 9 lb version has all options such as Heavier Kevlar, Extra heat rejection, added sound barrier and honeycomb for more structure stiffness.

Either version is more rigid than the aluminum unit is.

This Group buy price of $1,495.00 is the base 7lb version, with a standard 2x2 Twill weave and it does include a Kevlar layer for upper roof skin for added protection from penetration or tearing.( I tested an upper skin with 7 SUV's driving over it and it did NOT shatter of delaminate or lose form!!)
All come standard with stainless hardware and fasteners and clear coated with UV protection.

You have time to decide right up to the date I build your roof for options added.

Yes....its been a long journey for all. Its always a lot tougher when your not making just a "carbon copy"(form/shape copy) , so to speak.
