I only had time/space for 3 launches. First was a 4.8 with cold tires run up to top of 2nd. Then I jumped out with a lot of wheelhop and shut it down. Third launch was this one, where the car took off very smoothly from the low rpms, so I decided I might as well set a 0-100 time. For safety/police reasons I immediately drove home right after. I'm fairly sure I can replicate it within 2-3 tries.

I'm only running the boost gauge right now, in the semi-permanent position. I have the 3d designs gauge holder thing, but my time/budget doesn't allow me to put in 2 more gauges. I only want to take apart my interior once.

Seeing 8psi every time.

When I replace my tires, I might try the one-up higher sidewall versions of the 265mm RE-11s. Love these tires, they're obviously holding much better than the tires ironz4m is running

yeah i hear you on the gauges!!! my shop removed a SCARY amount of interior which i really wasnt happy about... they said in order to do it properly they need to remove that much of the inside/dash!!! Needless to say i crapped my underwear when i saw the insides of my car on the floor... that was one of the single most expensive things ive done....... not something i want to do again so im with you on your thinking.....

Was the 4.2 from a standstill or with a little rollout?

It's likely the 4.2 target that you had for the viper was without rollout, and the 4.0 was with.

Hey, i just converted oranges to apples.

heh. Good point. The 1 foot was a default in the vbox, but I was actually dissapointed to find that it WAS on a day later. Anyway, like you said its worth about .2s. No biggie. I'm gonna lay down a better number soon =)

impressive..... it seems our performance has moved up alittle more than i expected, i knew it was mighty fast but, the times im seeing are truely awesome!!

Roff some info for you...... Re the pro-efi setup

this is REAL traction control.

Rof my friend has a blown e36 tourer, and hes just put in a os giken Diff and the TRaction that thing finds on 245 section tyres is nothing short of amazing, alittle researchinto the giken shows why

http://www.osgiken.net/products/superlock.html

this thing is serious and their is a complete drop in unit for the z4///M...... However i have to say the stock ///M differential is coping more than well imo considering what were asking it to do......

yeah its pretty cool, I agree. I think the racelogic unit would launch just as well.

Anyway, I haven't had the electrical issue for almost a week now. I took it to a shop for a checkup 2 days ago and they just found one twisted wire. So I guess I solved it somehow...

I'm REALLY itching for 10psi now. I called Maximum PSI in New Jersey, and they said their specialty is the S52. Nobody here will tune it if I get the pulley + injectors. And I don't think ESS would cooperate either, but I guess I'll ask my installer to call

10psi on our car is pushing 600 crank!! i say we get vt2-550, get the meth/water systems running absolutly bang on, then were easily banging on the door of 500rwhp, i think that is moorree than enough, dont get me wrong, after seeing ehat the turbo boys are pushing i have no doubt we could run this and run it safely.......

arhhh power...... weve become power junkies..... way to close to crack addition....

one hit and all you want is MOOORREEE!!!

thats the problem with this blower setup.... power increases are way to easy.......

i cant lie, the last cool trip in my zed i was blown away with the power....

Problem is the cost of consumables is high to run meth daily, cheaper in the long term to just boost it more =)

Only because the injector was installed in the wrong spot, and my controller box fried. Other than that, I enjoyed it. hahahahaha. I didn't get the proper experience out of it, so I can't judge it. I'm too lazy to call AEM for a new controller box

ya no roff.... ive been doing some hard reasearch on these supercharger kits..... seems that ess is running the lowest boost of all... ALL the other stage 2 kits are running 9-10 psi..... i know we have 8 as opposed to the 7 it should be BUT really i agree with you, we need to get these boost figures up to 10psi, @ 10 were going to be easily knocking on 500rwhp..... my target for this car!!

AA/Gintani are all making 500rwhp using 10ish psi.... our hardware easily supports it!! can you see where im going with this.......

Ess are you reading..... ;-)

however the easiest way to get more power for us right now as it stands is meth injection.... or a better inter-cooler.... id love to find some specs on the one supplied to us by ess, it is a very nice unit, very thick and seems to do a great job however its having to heat ALOT of air... if you touch the intercooler inlet side its hot......

Who has a 10psi VT2-500 kit? I think we can gain more power from a 2psi boost vs upgrading the intercooler. Meth, yes, but only to turn it on once in a while... otherwise you're spending about $6/day to operate it
