Cool Just fitted some OEM Exhaust Trims

I bought some genuine exhaust trims (part number 18307551507) from the BMW parts department today and have just slipped them on tonight (2 minute job).

I think they tidy up the rear no end - here's some before and after shots...

None on the car when I bought it - are they standard then?

Also ordered some chrome dust caps with M-Sport logos on which should arrive tomrrow :-)

I like subtle tidy mods that are greater than the sum of their parts.

My 2004 3.0i (the 'top' model for the year) Doesn't have any shiny tips. But the exhaust does look a little bigger. I've thought about getting those chrome tips, but I have dreams of something a tad bit more obnoxious.

I looked up the PN on Tischer and it says that these are for the facelifted Z. Do you know if there is a difference in the exhaust diameter/shape at the tip from the pre-facelift Z's?
