Doors slamming sound

Hey all I have an '03 2.5i and both of my doors make a loud metal-on-metal slamming sound when they're opened and closed. I can't tell if the rubber bumper is worn out or not?

Is there a way to have this fixed?

Thanks!

The noise also could be do to the lack of insulation on the doors, have you changed your sound system or removed your interior door panels for anything? you may need to add some sound barrier inside the doors, I know there is a DIY post here about this, I will try to find and post it here when possible.

I haven't changed my sound system. I think the rubber seal is just worn out (it's flat) so it's causing a metal-on-metal clash when the door is shut.

Issue with the door check linkage in the door?

Did you prop the door way too far open lately and damage it?

I took my car to BMW stealership and how likely of them to deflect my problem by saying I'd have to come back and make an appointment to have someone look at it.

So I took it to a local collision shop: They said the door is loose and that I'd have to put sound-dampening material between the door and interior panel. What I don't understand is how my doors got like this...?

Anyways I took a couple videos and you can clearly hear the loud clang sound it makes when it shuts.

Mine does the same thing, I was told b/c its hollow on the inside and there is no, sound deadening material in there. My BMW guy said dynomat or something similar along the door wall will help a lot. He said if it doesn't then new door seals are in order.
