Half Extended Leather?

So I was looking at the original window sticker of my car, and it says $1700 for black extended leather. That being said my center console and headrest loops do not have the leather. (My door panels and windshield trim both DO have the extended leather.) I know there were two prices for the extended leather, $1700 and $2700 if Im not mistaken. Is the $1700 option really a "half" extended leather option?

I was under the impression that the 1700 option was for the roadster and the 2700 option was for the coupe.

straaaange. Maybe your center console and headrest loops were replaced. The visors and that whole area should be leather too

i wasn't aware there were separate configurations for extended leather. everything including the center transmission tunnel and sun shades and roll hoops should be in leather.

Yea it almost makes me wonder if the car was in an accident or broken into or something. I mean, the carfax was clean but that doesnt necessarily mean much.

Im very curious as to why this is. Any recommendations as to how to get to the bottom of this??

I've seen the half extended leather before. Not sure if it's a different option, but it's factory.

Initially, the extended leather option did not include the roll bars or the transmission tunnel and I'm not sure when they started covering those pieces in leather.

Mine's an 06 with a march build date, iirc, with full extended leather

They never did on non M's
Leather roll hoops were an M only option (and BMW Individual cars but USA never had any)
