Z4MC Rear Wheel Arch Widening

I'm thinking of going wider on the rear - 285/18" but not sure of the wheel arches will rub. I currently have 265/18" and there is not much room left so depending on what ET set up i currently have (no idea how to check) these may rub big time. Currently running 10.0" J on the rear

I think i have two options on this assuming leaving as is isn't an option..

(1) Go for an ET setup on the rear which will allow me to run these wider wheels or possibly get the wheel machined to the right off set so as to allow sufficient clearance.

(2) Get the rear arches widened, unfortunately i think this will be a fairly complex exercise as it will involve remoulding the rear bumper and side skirts in order to allow smooth curve angle

Has anyone considered running wider tyres and if so how did you get round any rubbing issues?
