Aftermarket Seats & Airbag Light

i swapped in some aftermarket seats and my airbag light popped on.

got it scanned and the fault came back for the occupancy sensor. which makes sense since it's not there anymore

has anyone else swapped in aftermarket seats and figured out a way to get around this? my car is still a road car so i'd like the airbags to work like they should

my car is a 01/2003 Z4 3.0i.

any help is appreciated!

Contact EAS, they have simulators to fool the occupancy sensor.
Though I think that just removes the airbag light - the airbags won't work.
