Asking $35,000 for everything. I've been fortunate enough to have owned a few fun sports cars: 600HP 996T, 700HP T04R Supra, MCS, NSX-T, 300+rwhp Turbo MX5, GS-X, S2000, 356's... and the M Coupe is right near the top in terms of pure driving experience. The M Coupe is the first BMW that I'd wanted to buy, and it's been a fun ride. With the DSC off, it's just the driver, car, and road... feels very connected. It's got a specific way it likes to be driven, and isn't one of those cars like the Cayman or S2000 where you can just get in and drive at the limits... but the character is what makes it so fun and rewarding. I love this car, and really hate to see it go. I'm selling it because I can't hold out any longer... with another kid in the works, this 2-seater will have to make way for something with at least 4 seats. I'll miss it... Thanks for looking... Thanks for the kind words. The splash guards are factory, painted black on the wheel-well side and IB on the rest. Flex was used, since it's not a rigid piece. They're easy to install and takeoff for touchups.

You wouldn't consider selling the x-pipe or mufflers would you?

Thanks guy... you know, I'm get'n the itch to start mod'n it again... it's such an illness, haha. My son is two, I was considering steering him towards something cheaper, like chess or checkers... but, he's favorite movie for the past 6 months has been and still is CARS... go figure.

If you don't mind me asking, did it sell for your asking price? There's been a lot of debate around here lately about what Z4Ms are now selling for and real data would be welcome.

It is a terrible time to be selling, and great time to be buying. I've sold 3 of my cars in the past 3 weeks (356C, 356C SC, and M Coupe), and probably took approx $23k hit total compared to 6 months ago. My M Coupe probably would have done $~38k mid-last year given the $12k in mods.
People always talk about "don't low-ball me". Well, an agree'd price is what the market can support, regardless of the dollar amount. If nobody is buying, prices are naturally going to drop. I started out at around $38k, hoping to get around $35k. In the end, I simply lowered my asking price, because everybody is shopping by price. I ended up getting very very very close to my revised asking price of $35k. I think in this market, I did the best I could, and the buyer got an incredible car at a great price. It's a buyers' market. The good news is... I'm a buyer now!

Hi I'm Jay, the guy who bought Stephen's car. I've been lurking around zpost for a little while. The reason I chose Stephen's car over say an 07 or 08 was the overall package. It's just an awesome vehicle, and I really appreciate the price Stephen was able to give me. I don't think I could be happier and I can't wait to start taking advantage of the car's capabilities. This is my first performance vehicle, my other vehicle being a Jeep Grand Cherokee. First thing is first though, I have to wash the car after the road trip back up to NorCal but after the rain passes.
