Are the strut braces the same as the pics? With the top of the strut covered up?

Good question because doesn't look it'll fit on our M with the stock strut V braces.

only $45 savings on the control arms.. I'd do it for $100 off, if it fits the Z4M

Yes, it is the same part. I was told it will fit, but I'll double check again.

Thanks for pointing that out.

I'll try to have an answer for you guys asap.

Alright guys, spoke to Dynovo earlier today, and unfortunately there has been a mistake/miscomunication and they confirmed that the strut brace does NOT fit the Z4M.

I also asked about fitment for the "non M" E85, and they said it should fit, but as of now, it is not 100% certain. From my understanding, this part was developed for the E46, but also happens to fit the E85 (non M).

I sincerely apologize for the confusion/mixup. Didn't mean to get your guys' hope up, and wasn't trying to rip anyone off by selling you a part that didn't fit your car. Like I said before, it was a matter of miscommunication.

My apologies.

I would also like to add that this does not affect the Rear Lower Control Arms. There is no issue regarding fitment between Z4/Z4M.

As A matter of fact, I personally have seen the RLCA installed on a Z4M.

Wow, these things are selling like hot cakes! As seen from the lists below, we’ve surpassed our sales quota for the Strut Brace, and are sold out on the Control Arms as well.

Being that we have two extra buyers interested in the Strut brace, I will contact Dynovo tomorrow to make sure that they have enough in inventory to cover the extra two (or more). I will post a follow up as soon as I get an answer.

Also, since just about all of the buyers of the Strut Brace are from m3forum, I just want to remind everyone that the stut brace only fits M3’s that were built up to 09/2004.

Note that their will be no refunds. So if you have an e46 M3 built from 10/2004 or later, you are stuck with it if it doesn’t fit.

I will post the shipping prices asap. I will also be sending a PM to all parties involved in the group buy. PM will include paypal info.

If I receive all payments in a timely manner, I can go pick up the parts from Dynovo and start shipping the items as soon as Friday 2/5/10!

Please review the list to make sure it is correct.

Sorry for the long post, this is my first group buy, so just want to make sure I’m not forgetting anything.

Thanks!

Okay, here’s the deal, I spoke to Dynovo during my lunch break… I have some good news, and I have some bad news…

Bad news is: There are no more LCA’s left. 8 is all they have. Not sure if they will be receiving more shipments, but as far as this group buy is concerned, that is all that is available.
Sorta bad news #2 – Looks like I wont be able to ship anything out ‘til early next week (hoping for Monday or Tuesday). – They didn’t expect for everything to sell as fast as it did. So they will be going to their warehouse to retrieve the goods over the weekend.

Good news is: Due to the demand for the Strut Braces, they’ve added another 10, making the total amount of strut braces available for the group buy = 20!!
Good news #2 – Looks like I will be able to start shipping parts early next week lol (pending I’ve received payments, of course)
Sorta good news: Based on package dimension/weight estimates, shipping should only come out to about $15-20 per item via FedEx ground shipping. – Again, don’t have a physical copy of either product in hand yet, so I can’t provide you guys with an exact figure quite yet. But figure somewhere around $15-20 per item.

Now here’s the REALLY GOOD NEWS: Since this group buy was such a success, I mentioned the possibility of doing another group buy for the Radenergie Short Shift Kit, and possibly the Radenergie CF Engine Cover, and it sounds like Dynovo is up for it!

I will post an updated list later this evening. Right now I gotta get back to work. In the mean time, if you haven’t already done so, let me know if you want in on the expanded (20) Strut Brace Group Buy. Iirc, we’re already at somewhere like 15-16.

Thanks!

Alex

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven’t been able to give you guys an update. Been extremely busy with work and had some personal matters that I needed to tend to.

Shipping will be $17 for each item shipped (within the con. US), regardless of product.

I will try my best to PM everyone tonight who is on the list with my paypal info. If not tonight, I promise I will by tomorrow. I will also post an updated list.

Once I post the updated list, If you are on the list(s), and are outside of the Con. US., PM me your shipping info, and I will calculate your shipping costs for you.

The updated list will consist of the previous lists, plus any people who want in on the expanded (20) Strut Brace list - based on a first come, first served basis.

Here's the total amount that will be due, broken down by product:

Strut Brace

$260.00 – Strut Brace
$017.00 – Shiping
$008.33 – Paypal Fees ($277 + 2.9% = $8.03 + $0.30)
-------------------------------------------------------
$285.33 – Total Out-the-Door price for Strut Brace alone

Control Arms

$250.00 – Rear Lower Control Arms
$017.00 – Shipping
$008.04 – Paypal Fees ($267 + 2.9% = $7.74 + $0.30)
-----------------------------------------------------
$275.04 – Total Out-the-Door price for Rear Lower Control Arms alone

Strut Brace & Control arms
------------------------------
$560.37 – Total Out-the-Door price for those of you getting the Strut Brace AND the Rear Lower Control Arms.

Will try to respond to all PM’s asap.

Thank you for your guys’ patience.

.

Hey guys. Sorry if I haven’t responded to your PM’s, or direct questions. I have a ton on my plate right now. Just wanted to give you guys a quick update. I have received 10 payments for the Strut Braces, and 3 payments for the Rear Control Arms.

The 10 payments for the strut braces was enough to satisfy the original group buy sales requirement of 10, so last night after I received the 10 payment, I transferred the money to my bank account so I can pay Dynovo in cash (part of the agreement). So all I’m waiting for is for the money to clear into my bank account (3-5 days according to Paypal). As soon as it clears, I can pick up the parts and start shipping them out. I’m sorry for the extra delay. This is my first group buy and I had never transferred any of my paypal balance to my bank account, and I didn’t know it would take that long to clear.

As for the remaining 10 Strut Braces, and control arms, I cannot do anything until I have received all of the payments. So if you signed up, please send your payment asap. If I have not received your payment by Friday, then you will forfeit your spot in the group buy, and the part will become available for others to purchase.

(Copied and pasted from m3forum, please disregard info regarding strut braces.)

Again, I apologize if I haven’t responded to your PM. I will try to respond to all of them as soon as I can.

Thanks
