Side Mirror Replacement P/N Request
My driver side mirror is getting burned out so need to replace it. When I check realOEM there's only 2 options:
51167112585 - Mirror glass heated plane left 61167177127 - Mirror glass heated plane left (for vehicles with auto dip) My side mirrors do NOT auto dip and in fact I didn't think any US-spec based did. However, when I look at the pictures, it seems part ending 7127 is what I have now because they both have black plastic trim surrounding the edge of the mirror. Only problem is that same mirror is 3x the price of part ending 2585. Can I get away with the borderless mirror and still retain heating & adjustments? |

I suspect the part number is an error as there must be trim around the edge to seal the electrochromatic fluid in the mirror. I don't know why the autodip feature would require a different mirror.

Second number should be 51167177127 not 61167177127.
"Auto Dip" is auto dimming. Note extra connector with purple wire on the back.
