561design gave a crazy lady the gift of not breaking her legs with his zed and sending her to the hospital for 6 months. Does that count? |

It was a 100GBP gift certificate from Simpson Motorsport in the UK. I SOOOO could have used that back in November for those rims! (100gbp is $200 for the kids at home.)
So yeah, that prize was definately the bestest EVER.

We're still missing most of the European contingency ... it always spiced things up when we had a good "friendly exchange" going "

One of the things I really liked about Z4UM was the international flavor. I always thought that it was kind of cool to be carrying on a conversation with someone from half way around the world.

Hey Chad!
There's gonna be a Bellevue Square meet this Sunday if you're interested in coming. There will be some e46 3 series too. Roger's going. I'm going. It'll be at 5PM, at the very top level of the Crate and Barrel's parking garage. If you're not sure where that is we can meet up somehwere and I'll take you there. :-P |

I resorted to deleting my Firefox bookmark for the Z4um but it's easy enough to add if something changes. It's great to see everyone again! Z owners are definitely a fun group! ToplessM... aka Nyobie from Z4um |

I am so effin' pissed right now. I cant make it because the effin' Dish Network guy is still installing my new HD dish on the roof! He was supposed to be here this AM, but arrived late and is a total bonehead. I am so mad to miss this meet! --Chad

Ahh I thought it was my system, have issues with bmwportal as well.
The timing of the site to be down was not a good time for me. I was looking to replace my 03 2.5 zd4. I was seriously looking at an 05 boxster (had a free 24hr test drive 3 weeks ago in a new one, had 12 miles on clock returned with over 200). Spent last couple of weekends looking at a few. after driving 90 miles to see one last sunday and keeping an eye on zds I popped into a BMW dealer on the way home. The thought of spending over £2000 per year on service ect and the local porsche dealer over 30 miles and nearly 2 hrs in traffic and boot space limitations and the cost of the 05 was still only £4K off new including extras but the 04 before the face lift model have dropped £14K so could see loosing when the novelty dropps Looked at a very nice 06 2.5 si sport. Only 10 months old less than 5,000 miles and over £9K off new (was cheaper than the trade in value from parkers or glasses???) got a bit more than trade in for my zd did the deal and they delivered it 2 days later. I wonder if they got the wrong model. I definately have the Si. |

Hello all....I'm the one giving away the Z4 print....I still have it and wondering what to do with it now that the Z4um seems to be gone.....I was away for 2 weeks and the entire time trying to figure out what happened to the site......I finally came across this board. I'm really missing the forum and hoping it will be back soon. I feel like a loser since I started the contest and haven't been able to award it to anyone.
Shall we start it up again here or wait until the Z4um is back? Thoughts and ideas are appreciated! I missed you all! |
