Another Z4MC with a Voltex GT wing!!
Our Voltex shipment finally came in and this customer wanted the same setup as "Terryltl's" car that we setup for track.
He installed a APR previously and we will be removing it to install our own custom race splitter. You'll be seeing a lot more of this car!! |

I know who's car this is because they bought my wheels from me a while back. To the owner: Nice work, I like the direction you are going

Just curious from a non-wing'd Z4M - what happens when you sell off the car and need to plug the 'holes' left over from the drills?
The paintshop can do that right? (i.e putty over and paint?) How about the underside support? Are there any mounting plates to be done below? Very nice setup BTW. Which Voltex model is that?

I agree that on a street car it looks plain silly and downright comedic, but if you're serious about tracking a functional splitter and wing provide some documented benefits (seen here with forum member's track times and entrance/exit speeds through corners). |

Track crowd is fine with duct tape and motons on the same car, and most of them will say that they can appreciate the effort behind slamming a car, they will openly admit it looks dumb. In short, GO>SHOW To the hellaflush crowd, a properly slammed car looks great, and most of them will admit that they appreciate the effort behind properly setting up a car for the track, but will often admit that it's not something they're particularly interested in. In short, Show> Go As an example. I can appreciate the effort that you had to go through to slam your Z4, but it has no appeal to me, and while I think you have gone to great lengths in working on your car to make it appeal to you, I find the whole concept of slamming a car a waste. I would wager that the opposite would be true for you. You would likely believe that I would get laughed at because my Z is prepared for the track, has a functioning splitter, wing, a stupid loud exhaust, numbers on the side, and tires that don't have any tread.

On off track. Looks cool. The mc is a track car. Just when u get it from the factory... It's not Porsche gt3 tuned yet....
I'd put one on. I just worry someones gonna drive by and rip it off the car. Seen that happen before.

before SCCA Auto-X changed their rules a few years ago, the winning cars were all using aero. Fastest you really go in a national level autox is between 50-60. Difference between aero and non-aero cars was measured in full seconds on a 60 second course...
