Another tire size question
I will soon be in need of new tires but cant decide if I want to stick with the stock sizes or go a little wider. Would I notice the difference between a 255/40 and 265/40 size tire in terms of grip, handling, ride quality, etc.?
If it would be beneficial to go wider, is there a recommended size combo for the stock wheels? Thanks for any input. |

I'm about to replace my tires, and will be sticking with the stock wheels for now.
Spoke with Tirerack and was told we can fit a 245/40 up front, and a 275/35 in the rear on stock wheels. Is this pushing it on the 19x9 rear?

^ I've searched for that setup on stock rims before, and IIRC, that setup is doable, but is at the very outer limits of each of the rims.
