Pacific Coast Hwy Shots, perfect car, perfect day

Alternate title: Why Roadsters don't suck...

The last shot is from the blast home on Mulholland Drive, above the Snake. Detailed the car this AM, 70 degrees and sunny today, got three great canyon drives with no bicyclists hogging the roads.

Car looks great! Pictures look great!

Sonds like it was a very good day of driving and enjoying the weather.
Roadsters are awesome. Don't tell anyone, but sometimes I miss mine.

Notice the 3.91's in your sig. What do you think abuot this upgrade and what made you choose 3.91 over 4.10?

yup...the gloves keep the oils & crud from my hands off the steering wheel. When the gloves go on, it flips the mental switch to 'serious driving mode'. We have some really excellent canyon roads that are sportscar heaven. If you get to Zfest this year you'll get the routes I mapped out for the occasion.

regards,

RC

Love that upgrade. Rear gears are probably the single best improvement you can do to these cars. I went with the 3.91s because I still have to do a good chunk of Highway driving and didn't want to totally bust my mileage. These gears give about 8% more 'effective' torque, or ~21 FtLb. No other single mod [other than Superchargers] gives you that much more Go. Net outlay is around $2500. AFAIK a superchanger is $7-10K.

If I had it to do over, it would be my first mod and I would probably get the 4.10s anyway, because they rock even harder. There's a separate thread in the drivetrain forum about my install.

those are the perfect days...just get out and drive. It really is the essence of these cars. Can't wait until I can put my daughter in the front seat and head out on my day off. Daddy days are limited to my truck

Last year's road trip Pics as we roll(ever so slowly) towards Springtime

Enjoyed your Coast shots and was inspired to throw some road trip pics up on Flickr. They are basically unsorted and unlabeled, but, heck road trips are always fun to see, even if a bit disorganized. The shots are a bit of Oregon, Ca., Yosemite, Reno with a Vegas and a few Death Valley thrown in....
