Apex ARC-8 sized 18x8.5" ET38 with 245/40/R18 tires up front and the 18x9.5" ET22 with 275/35/R18 tires in the rear. Brand new fender liners and yes, slight rub on the access panels at full lock with those 245/40/R18 tires up front. |

Hankook Ventus V12 vs. Continental Sport Tires
Hey everyone. I'm new to the thread and just bought a 2006 Z4 M Roadster. It's got ~50000mi on it. I need to replace the tires on front soon and probably within the year also replace the rear tires. Wondering about opinion of Continental Extreme Contact vs Hankook Ventus V12 mainly in performance category?
Very well worn Continentals on the front that need replaced soon, and Hankook Ventus V12 on the rear. Here are the specs. Front - 245 35 R19 Rear - 275 30 R19 (looks like previous owner had the rear Hankooks put on at 41000mi 4/16/16) I've got aftermarket Axis wheels. Thanks all |

Michelin PS4S
You guys, original e85/e86 M owners, remember these?
MORR VS8s had them refinished after 10 years, still love em. Shod with Michelin PS4S. Last edited by gnx; 06-07-2018 at 05:15 AM.. |

Not sure if its the angle of the photos or camber setting etc... but that rear does not look remotely close to those specs? |

It's what was engraved on the centers offset wise from Hamann. The width I did actually measure and it's 10". But actually an interesting point to be honest as the barrels could have been changed I guess and I wouldn't have a clue ........ unless I measured them myself............. which I didn't. Maybe when I'm bored one day I will take the time to actually remeasure them. But I did buy them used so completely unsure about the history.
What I do know is that they fit nicely without any modification. |

I am considering spicing up the wheel department a bit!
Is anyone running 19 inch BBS CH-R wheels on their Z4M? I could only find two pictures and so far I am liking what I see! |

[QUOTE=NickyC;23170816]Just saw my name posted, I'm happy to post some pics again of my baby which I miss oh so much. I never wanted to sell her but it was time to move on, please find some pics of her with the 19" BBS CH-Rs (chrome ring is a MUST removal imho). I also included a few pictures of my new car with 20" HRE FlowForms with some nice 295s on the rear!
Hope everybody is doing well!! /QUOTE] Thanks NickyC and Rockstar93! I like the look of those. Do you happen to remember the sizes and are you using any spacers? Seems like a nice alternative to the CSL's. I am considering brilliant silver on Interlagos blue. |

Thanks very much V3.2mc. Those CH's already look good and I like the CH-R's even more. The central portion is a bit slimmer which makes it look lighter.

These are the wheels I use to store the car (summer wheels off my E90 M3), and while the tire sizes aren't ideal the wheel specs make for a very nice, aggressive look. I've seen a couple other members run these 219M or the very similar 260M wheels on their E85/86's.
Contemplating turning these into a dedicated set of track wheels/tires (which also means my E90M gets a new set of shoes) along with some more front camber. Specs for those that don't know: BMW Style 219M - by BBS F: 18x8.5" ET29 + 245/40R18 R: 18x9.5" ET23 + 265/40R18 With these tires I do rub slightly on full lock or over bumps, but I'm also within factory camber specs but lowered on KW v3's.

Hi all, just picked up my 06 Z4M over the weekend, been looking at wheels.
Having read through an exhaustive offset and width guide, would like to see if anyone would have a clue whether it will fit with rolling hopefully without needing a pull 18x9.5 +22 front, 245/40-18 18x10.5 +23 rear, 275/35-18 I have no issue with rolling, even flat rolling the fenders Car will go on TCK Double adjustables, I don't slam my cars, its going to be a functional low. Your help is much appreciated. |

Excellent thread - 22 pages of information and inspiration 👍
I notice that square setups are mentioned only a few times. On the E82 1-series forums, a square setup (wheels and tyres) was very popular and apparently helped get rid of the understeer those cars suffer from. So, why aren’t square setups as popular for the Z4 Ms? Secondly, does the collective experience of users offer any guides for what 17 inch wheels can/should fit? Thanks! |

Thanks, m-cast - that’s a serious looking M Coupe!
Rotating tyres is one reason i’m considering a square setup for the street. I won’t be putting many km on the car and the front tyres may even pass their use by date before running out of tread. Is there any reason to NOT run a square setup on the street? I’d like to run a 255 tyre all ‘round but suspect that wouldn’t fit on the front without body work and/or serious alignment settings? |
