Trying to make a decision
I would very much like experienced opinions on the ride feel difference and the performance difference between a Z4 coupe with sports suspension and an M Coupe. Thanks in advance. I should also state I am looking to use the car as daily driver (40-90 miles a day depending on where I need to go)a nd weekend mountain twistie runner. Probably never track the car.

Only way to make this decision is to drive both. Some will find the M just fine as a daily driver while some will find even the non-Sport Z4 to be too harsh. The only way to find out where you sit in that spectrum is by driving - not by listening to all our opinions.
However, looking at some of your previous rides, I suspect you'll want the M. |

It's too subjective to ask anyone else. I've driven almost nothing but sports cars for years (at one point, I owned different Porsches). My Z4MC is my daily driver and I'm fine as long as I avoid Chicago's infamous potholes; my gf found the standard roadster I used to drive more comfortable. At speed, the Z4MC has higher limits and inspires confidence as you approach them.
