New Interior Color
What do you guys think of this for a new interior color?
- White seats - Gold Metal "///M" in the embossed "///M" headrest - White on door cards - White on center console - White head rests Feedback appreciated. |

My Z3 has/had the white leather interior... It DOES NOT look good after a bit of dirt, it shows absolutely everything.
When new it's nice, but it will be a hell of a job trying to keep it clean. I ripped mine out and replaced with black Alcantara, Soo much easier to maintain. Edit: not a fan of the gold ///M. I like the white, as previously said, nice contrast, and looks gorgeous, just impossible to keep clean. |

I think that the white is CRAZY nice looking but agree that keeping it "looking" good will be a nitemare............. unless this is for a garage queen !!
Lite-grey ?? how about gold with white inserts !!!?? Ok, just kidding..... LOL |

I would say aesthetically it looks great and think it's sweet.
But... why on earth would one have a gold metal M logo in the headrest? That little detail could derail the look. It may offer nice contrast to the white leather but is not needed. At the most a stitched M logo in the headrests would be the most appealing option and may offer a look that "feels" like the work of BMW Individual. |

Thanks for the feedback everybody. Okay, so gold is out. White is a nightmare to keep clean. I just got SP plates, so I don't drive it too much. Was thinking about getting seat covers for driving and then taking them off for shows.

For shows....less of a loud colour to be honest. It's all about the unique stitching and contrast |

Damn I have been thinking of doing that with incorporating a healthy amount of carbon fiber for two years now. It looks really good.

IMO the red/black/white color scheme looks fantastic. So clean and tasteful but with a huge pop factor. For under $200 you could have a slip-on white leather seat cover custom-made that looks ten times better than a towel that most people would use. Roughed out to the shape of the seat with just a strap that runs across the back of the seat that velcros or buckles together to keep the cover in place over the seat back. I use one as described and these seats lend themselves nicely to that. I'll eventually two-tone my seats and door panels with gray leather. The shop had no issues with doing the airbag stitching - they said that they use a cotton thread that looks appropriate to the task but is (relatively speaking) weak.
