Dash cam question about GPS
Hello,
Looking for something for the car, front and back cameras. Trying to figure out if camera models with the GPS on the camera allow you to program a destination or just see where you are currently located on the map? Also I saw one post that was great. Anybody recommend any particular models? I do not mind wiring or installing a separate camera in the rear. |

I'd be really surprised if any of the dash cams have a functional gps guide. The gps functionality exists so you can prove the footage took place where you claim (i.e. it'll hold up in court).

What he said. GPS data isn't for directions, it's for location and speed information.
