Working on a New Project - Wheel Coasters
Hi Guys - I'm working on a new project which is wheel related. For the car and I can't think of a better place than to share with my Z community. I'm thinking of creating drink coasters constructed from wood which would have engraved on them popular Euro wheel designs. Like the ones below. Great to have around the house even in the garage for the beer when working on the car. Would love to know if this is something the Z community would be interested in along with what kinda wheels you'd like to see for the first collection. I'm thinking 4 wheel designs for the first set. Let me know your thoughts!

You mean the actual wheel design or the logo on the cap?

Would the wood be treated? Drink coasters in wood would to me absorb liquid and ultimately swell or start to look discolored and crummy.
I do like the idea though.

Cool project! A good template might be of offering a single coaster per wheel style. Could do 4 coasters total, each with a different style (4x1), or 6 coasters composed of 3 styles doubled up (3x2).
Some popular styles that could work well: Work Meister/SSR SP1 BMW E46 CSL BBS LM HRE P40/VMR V710 Volk TE37 OEM M And some more inspiration from a similar concept (automints) :
