oh, and I'm going to hide the meth injection kit by using the windshield washer tank as the reservoir, and hiding the pump inside the bumper. Also plan to get it running on concentrated windshield washer fluid which is 30% methanol, and cheap enough to run daily. I guess within the next 3 weeks or so

Probably a local dyno. I want something custom, not an off-the-shelf tune.

Windshield washer fluid varies in its methanol content. Some of the colder fluids are 50/50.

Very hard to find something rated below -20* which is around 30% meth content, especially in Florida

Here's what my cutouts sounds with no cats, at partial throttle. They're now blocked off though, as they're for sale.

very odd, apparently my "old" belt was a 6pk2300. My ESS parts list shows it using a 6pk2315 so that's what I put in. Logic would say that this is a 15mm longer belt right?

I did a bunch of pulls and I'm getting a clean 7 to 8psi in 2nd gear at 7900rpm, but only hitting a max of 6psi on top of third gear... Slow boost leak, belt slip, or the rubber around the fittings on the air lines going to the boost gauge are old and maybe leaking there.

The new Continental Contitech 6pk2315 doesn't feel any tighter either. I think I was seeing similar boost numbers on the old no-name belt today actually..

ugh.....

Mine says 2360. Now I am confused. I checked twice and it definitely says 6pk2360.

5mm smaller than mine

girls probably won't notice

I'm gonna double check my pulley sizes to make sure everything is correct, these recent vt2-525 threads are scaring me.

I think my AEM meth kit's pump AND controller are dead. I'll have a shop confirm it. for fucks sake, I have only used it for a few days in the last 2 years, and already replaced the controller box once. Hope it was less than 1 year ago, and under warranty. Aem says they'll give me a discount on a replacement if over 1 year

Finally some luck, I have 3 weeks of warranty left on AEM's meth controller box, I'll get a replacement free of charge. The pump is only like $67.

I'll be cleaning up my ghetto install too.

What I can't figure out is how my belt is 2360 (vs 2310 it's suppose to be) and they are going to send a larger crank pulley. How's that going to fit?

Probably you've never been able to take advantage of the kit. To increase the speed of the compressor you can:
-reduce the pulley on the compressor or increase the lower pulley.

... maybe you had posted/installed the belt correct with a wrong low puleghia.

Ok, I checked my measurements, and I have a 3.33" pulley (edge to edge since the ribs come up to same level), and 130mm crank pulley.

I think my hydraulic belt tensioner is tight enough, but my belt should be 5-10mm shorter to that there's less slack. Am I correct in assuming that a 2315 belt is exactly 5mm longer than a 2310 belt?

Either way, I'm ordering a 141mm Jaws crank pulley soon , so I'll need a different belt

That will take you to exactly 570 spec (impeller speed wise; 48000rpm).

I'm using Vortech's V-3 calculator, using engine speed of 8000. Are my numbers off? Honestly, I'm not sure what my peak boost is right now. I'm hitting 8 in second, but only 6.5 in 3rd...
