Step away from the vehicle :-)
A great car in deed but such a different ride than the ///M. Better mannered than the ///M so you may find it a little less thrilling. Still German. A great colour. Has back seats. But not a Z4MC. If you are adding to the collection, go for it!

I see a car that's going to be more comfortable, but can't match the handling, feel, and thrill of what you have now.
I can't help pull you back if I don't know why you're considering it. What about this is pulling you over the edge? |

Maybe if it were an RS but not a TTS. The interior is so cheap looking on those cars. That was my initial thought when I sat in one 2 years ago. They look good though and I did consider it before the Z4M. As you can see which one of them won.
Plus .. its an auto-tragic. lol |

Why would you want to go slower, grow fatter and crawl on all fours?
265hp to move ~3200lbs with front bias and Automatic? I won't even consider even if it's TT-RS. 1st gen is funky, 2nd gen is girly. TT are just like SLK in this town. A mistresses' car. |

pull you back? maybe we should just push you for even thinking about it! Don't do it! I came from a V8 powered A6 and the electronic gremlins aren't very nice guys to play with. Plus it's really hard to have decent fun in a 4wd autobox when things are working correctly

No contest
Back in 2003, I was faced with buying an extremely low mileage S52 Mcoupe or a new 2003 350Z. In the end I went with the "safe" choice (warranty) and got the 350Z.
I regretted that choice all the time, especially every time I saw an Mcoupe and felt its cult like pull. Back when I bought my coupe, I had the opportunity to pick up a brand new 2008 TT 3.2 manual for just a little more money (it was an incredible end of the year deal at downtown audi, 2008 TT 3.2 in December 2008 for $40000 brand new). I didn't make the same mistake twice and everytime I look back at my car as I walk away I am happy I didn't. |
