2007 Z4 3.0si Custom Exhaust...
First off I have to give TONS! of thanks to gferil for pointing me in the right direction and answering all my stupid questions!!
Next thanks goes to Mighty Muffler in Aston PA... What an outstanding shop that does top notch work... http://www.mightymuffler.net/ Here is the before and after Pictures of the underside of the car... Stock Not stock Here is the Muffler that was used... The shop had it in stock and ready to go.. along with a bunch of tips to choose from.. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=12468 I absolutely loooove the sound of this thing now its soooo throaty and there isn't hardly any drone at low RPM highway driving... Here is a quick video I put together... Big thanks to the Lovely Jessica for helping me.. |

NICE! Dude that sounds so sick! I'm glad you found something you like man.
I'm also guessing it didn't really cost much either, which is one of the best parts of going custom. Also awesome that it doesn't drone much. I like your tip selection, looks mean! If drone ever gets to you, try playing around with some strategically placed Dynamat. Not sure where it would help best in the roadster, but in the M coupe it helps in the trunk. And the stuff is lighter than most people think, so adding some of it isn't bad at all considering the weight you saved by getting rid of that brick of an OEM muffler. More videos! |

I have the same setup, for about 3mo now. The sound is amazing for the price, I guess I got lucky though there's a great muffler shop here in Fort Worth that put it on and had tips available all in it probably cost me around $300 for everything.

I picked up the muffler on amazon so that probably saved me a bunch. the part it replaces seems more like a resonator either way its after the o2 sensors so it runs fine.

Hi there,
It sounds great on the video! I'm thinking about doing the same thing on my z4 currently have a Stebro which is to drony between 1500 and 2500rpm. Can you make a video of the sound inside the cabin with the top closed? Martin |

Sounds amazing, really! super impressed! Im glad you went with this setup, your going to be much happier with this over the stebro, you have to love how good the n52 sounds with an exhaust.

Definitely agree with the other posters. Amazing sound. I just found a local shop that does custom exhaust. I'll have to check them out first and get an estimate. I'd like to be able to get it for $300 like Oazix.

I just removed my Stebro exhaust and drove it without
It drones even more then with the Stebro... Wonder if i put 2 pipes on it it will drone as much? (Muffler Delete) in other words how much drone will be reduced by installing the Magnaflow muffler instead of the resonator? |
