Nice pics!! I lived in Seattle in the early 80's and there's nothing like a warm clear summer day up there.....gorgeous.
What part of town do you live in? I lived in the Greenlake area about a block from the lake, near Spud Fish & Chips. |

Nice shots. Glad you got to enjoy the sun while it was still enjoyable. I am ready for another shot of marine grayshine after today's excess sun and heat.

A few of those last pics were taken in West Seattle at the Hamilton Viewpoint park. I once lived a few blocks from it!
Nice pics, guys.... would be nice to meet up with you both sometime. --Chad

MakoBimmer1: Sorry, mate... I need to work on my event planning skills. I was originally thinking about having a meet this past Monday, but things came up and what ended up was a last minute plan to meet up with Bluesharp. That said, though, the GTG went great! It was nice to meet Bluesharp (finally... we've been talking about it since the demise of Z4um), and I'm certain another meet will occur.
You are right, we took the pics in West Seattle. Wonderful day to just soak up the good life. Thanks for all the comments, guys! |

Yep, it was great fun meeting you, Rick. And thanks tons for the sig pic! And thanks for the ride in the ///M too. Now I want one!! WHAAAA!
:finger: The craziest part was as Rick backed up after the nose-to-nose pics we ended up facing each other across the intersection, and who should pull up? Another Z4, a black one. Well, we ended up sitting there at three out of four corners for a sec, just staring. It was a definite Z4 moment. Another highlight was Rick gave me a ride in the ///M so I could compare. He'd mentioned that he hardly ever gets comments from stangers, but as we drove down a narrow road this 12 year old kid yells out, "Nice car!" Rick smiles and says "Maybe I should roll the window down more often." All I can say is you should try it with the top down buddy. It happens all the time!

Red, Blue, White......I'd come up for the pic session if I could eat at Spud. Is it still there? There was a cool pub in Wallingford called Rosie's and some great eats in the U district.......heck, when I lived there I believe there were only two Starbucks in the whole world. Time flies.

Yup, I think it's still there. I've been to the one in West Seattle, and I know there's one in Juanita Beach.
