18x8.5 et 35 and 245/40/18 front
18x9.5 et 22 and 285/35/18 rears
VERY close to stock diameters just wider.
Stock suspension buy calculations everything looks good any comments?

I have a totally stock suspension on my mc. Will this size fit without rubbing issues? Was looking at the apex group buy option. Is a squared setup not recommended for our cars? I don't really see too many with this sizing.

18x9.5 et22 is for us (Z4M) rear not front, it is listed as front only for E9x M3
18x9.5 et35 for rear this would fit, but you will probably want to get spacers since the wheel will be only 1mm outer than the stock

For front you should get 18x8.5 et38 with a 245 tire for perfect fit

There's some feedback on the GB thread regarding the 9.5" ET22 - unfortunately they don't have enough wheels to sell the ET22 to us as rear wheels :-(

I have both the M Roadster and M Coupe. Both are lowered. The BBS CH setup have a little more rubbing in the rear on big bumps. The BBS LM setup has almost no rubbing at all. Both setup have the same tire size. The fronts do rub a little if I make a full lock turn on the BBS LM. Not so much on the BBS CH. The BBS CH setup used no not rub as much until I got new Michelin Super Sport tires on it. The Continentals worked better for me.

Here are my setups

M Roadster
BBS CH
Front 19X8.5 +35 245/35/19
Rear 19X10 +20 275/30/19

M Coupe
Front 19X8.5 +32 245/35/19
Rear 19X10 +25 275/30/19

Here are some pics:

The M Roadster is being put back to stock to trade in so it is higher now. With stock suspension, it haven't rubbed at all. I drive through the same exact roads that always rub and its as soft as it could be.

I just replaced the rear tires witht eh stock 255/40/18 on the M Coupe. The fronts will be replaced soon also is there any reason not to put 245/40/18 on the front stock 8" wheel. That will let me get very close to a square setup to use at the track or will this cause me to throw codes and had ABS issues?

Folks have run 245/40/18s on the stock wheels for track use. It's pushing what you can fit in terms of tire on the 8" rim, and you won't realize the full width of the tire due to some compression (section width won't be as wide as on a wider wheel).

Here's a comparison grid I threw together awhile back and some other resources.

Our cars (2006) use the ABS sensors to monitor any relative change between revolutions across wheels to provide a tire pressure warning system - IIRC its > 15% sets off the low pressure warning. The key to mix and matching tires, beyond fit to rims and wheel wells, is to maintain no greater than a 3% delta between revolutions over a fixed distance mile/kilometre. In addition its recommended by the tire industry and installers alike to not mount different sets (brands, ratings, tread pattern etc.) front to rear.

I have a set in mind but this is their limitations
Any more concrete info on this set-up? Assuming stock suspension and 245/35 F and 275/35 R.

Thanks!

Assuming stock you want 245/40-18 and rear:275/35-18. See link in post 228, which also links you to this which should provide more info.

Buryat, see this thread before considering an extreme change in offsets from the stock 42mm front for the M.

i've seen RGR's on a few ZM's now. doesn't look like there's rubbing issues on stock ride height but what about a mild drop?

concerned about the rears....19x10et20.

Is their any consensus of the most aggressive 19" setup (offset and tire size) that can be ran with a stock or slightly modified suspension?

do you guys think 18x9.5 et35 with a 245 up front and 18x10 et25 with a 275 in the rear will work. I am dropped pretty low on H&R coilovers and I know I will atleast need 2.5 degrees camber out of some camber plates up front.
