Nitrous Oxide
Any one have experience with using nitrous in a Z4M or a S54 Engine.
I found a kit sitting around in my garage and thinking of installing it just to hold me over till. Some forced induction kits get released. YAY? or NAY? |

Nitrous doesn't come from "rice" cars ... it has been used in real race cars (American Musclecars) for years.
That said, after experimenting with it on my 350z (read: the good) and watching my friend blow his intake manifold into bits on the dyno (read: the bad) ... I stay away from the spray these days. I'd assume the S54 to be even more temperamental to mods like that than the Nissan VQ is. |

Ricer and I are friends (from Irvine) - i've just seen people give sly remarks to him re: "Ricey" things - or whatever they define that as. I guess that was my poor attempt at humor.

talk to B0ki on E46fanatics.com He has some crazy setup and a few guys on the board are running with no issues. Check it out.
From what I read. As long as you are smart with it, it will do no harm to the motor.

a local guy has nitrous in his m3 and hes pumping like 450hp. pretty cool but to me nitrous is way to "fast and the furious"
