yea im fine it really not a huge deal. just a shit load of scratch on the bumper, fuked up license plate (frame and plate), and the lip spoiler has a huge cut in it, and a dent in the trunk. i just hate it when stuff like this happens to nice cars.

all the scratches. the part where there no dirt is the dent.
the worst part (but light still works ) i was expecting the whole back end concaved .the retard hit his brakes and hit me at like 5-10mph. but it still sucks. how much do you guys think itll cost?? would i need a new trunk lid? |

Yikes. New lid for sure. The bumper could most likely be reconditioned, but for just a few more dollars I'd spring for a new one. I hate reconditioned parts, they will age and wear differently than your oem / new pieces.

Ouch, sorry to hear and see.....everytime I see someone driving like an idiot, they usually have a cell phone pressed to one ear.....
Insist on new parts, not repaired ones. They should indemnify your loss.

I'd fight for replacement parts no reconditioning, your probably looking at $3-5K to repair depending on the shop. i see your a Maryland Z driver too.

I hear ya, this happened to my old z3. The damage to my car was considerably a lot less then what you have. Only my bumper was hit and it only had I few scratches. I though they would have it reconditioned but instead they replaced the entire bumper.
From what I see they'll be replacing both your bumper and your trunk lid. How come your concerned about costs? Wasn't the dude insured? |
