Recent Pictures with the Silver Grey Coupe
Bought new wheels for the car... picked them up in my only alternative transportation... a 1980s 911. I still can't believe they fit in there!

Thanks - it's daily driven in the DC area and with all my other cars projects, I don't plan on modding the M coupe (at least for now). Plus it handles just fine for my purpose of doing a few Autoxs / De's a year.
Lastly, with a lot of funds going toward Lemons and the porsche projects, it's hard to make rationale sense on spending money on the M coupe which needs nothing to begin with

Thanks - yeah that 914 was my dad's first porsche in the 70s. He put it into storage when I was born in the 80s and then I pulled it out a couple years ago to restore / mod when I graduated with my undergrad. This one is a 1971 in what was originally 'kelly green' I believe. I created a website for it here: http://web.mac.com/dam338/Site/Proje..._Progress.html But I haven't had the time to update it in awhile. Right now, the 914 has a carrera 3.2L flat 6 intalled in it (from the 80s so it's air/oil cooled). Remaining sticking points to get it running are running the oil lines and mounting the front oil cooler. Then just the Motronic ECU wiring which shouldn't be too bad (knock on wood). they are really fun cars - like overgrown go-karts lol.

Cool site..
Brings back lots of memories My ultimate goal was to build a 916 replica, but never got there.

I've learned so much from him from such an early age by helping him in the garage when I was real young... that to finally work on a end-to-end project together is pretty cool. I guess we might be getting toward the idea of a 916 replica. We plan on the 914-6 steel fender flares and the 3.2L flat-6 has about 240 horse - so it should move pretty well for such a light car. Cosmetically it looks like 'crap' to most people right now, but we've done hours of rust repair and rear end reinforcement on the car.

Love, love, love the RGR's, look perfect on the car, and a nice weight savings over the stockers. Nice choice Your video makes me desperately miss the back roads of Northern and Central Virginia where I grew up.

Thanks!
I live 2 miles outside DC, so driving out to the 'boonies' every now and then is my only way to keep my sanity from all the constant traffic.
