I know you're right about popping a vein. Street racing is a poor replacement for real dyno testing.

If you test on a dyno and see improvements, you KNOW that it'll translate in the real world, whereas doing seat of the pants 'real world' testing can mean absolutely nothing as there are so many variables that can affect the results.

Whether its ram air effect, or the top end pull of high profile cams, you can only really do proper scientific testing on the dyno.

As a former race shop owner, i would never sell a product based on how it "felt on the highway" or how hard it pulled on my buddy's chevy where before i used to lose.

Anyway, these are my thoughts on the matter. Laidback thank you for doing the dyno testing and the prototyping, you're doing alot for the Z4 community, as is RPI
