It has been determined that engine efficiency improves by 1% for every 10° degree drop in under-hood temperature. If we were to use the above data, we could reasonably assume that we would obtain a 50 horsepower increase on a 500 horsepower engine.

I drop mine off today.... $200+tax.. I wanted satin black. There's no difference in performance but the owner of the store did mentioned that it's easier to clean up the silver chrome if you ever drop oil or fluid on it than satin black. So silver chrome it is. Life warranty on coating.
