also depending on the elevation in which the seat is oriented it may be necessary to reapply in certain areas. changing the geometry of the seat in relation to the car helps certain areas of the seat become better moisturized by the oil. like if you come back after 4 hours and you notice that there are some dryer patches than others.... it will be because of their positioning to the seat itself so example given here would be me; my fronto bolster on my seat the first square had after the adjusting well pad is always dryer so I always add a little extra oil there and elevate the seat forward with a little incline forward as well
