I've had the Turner pulleys on my car in Austin for several years, daily driven. I haven't had any issues with overheating. I have had issues with loud belts on startup though. And a few times the belt has jumped over a few ribs on the crank pulley. I switched to a slightly shorter belt (belts are easy to find, contrary to one of the concerns above). It's starting to make noise again though, so I need to check and see if the belt needs replaced or maybe my tensioner.
