I'm thinking I may or may not have to bite the bullet one day and purchase the M steering wheel rubber spoke covers.
However, I know the durability is next to nothing, and I already put some nicks into my existing one in just a year.
I was thinking of purchasing new ones, and then doing a few coats of a matte clear coat:

The idea would be to give it that extra layer of protection. I really don't want to spend $160 every year on steering wheel covers.
