And the price for a nice 996 GT3 RS are going totally bonkers as well, at least here in Sweden/Europe. They are more expensive than a 997 GT3 last I checked. It's due to the 996 being the last with mechanical steering I think.
As I've said on several occations before on other car forums, bubble warning... Once the interest rates start to climb we'll see a colapse in enthusiast car prices.
