The EC-7s are also a bit tougher, and a pound or so heavier than the ARC-8s. If potholes are a problem, I seriously consider them.
Thanks Finn. Waiting is not an option as my insurance company is putting up $1000 towards this purchase (another whole story). I will go back & look at the EC-7s again
