+1, and +1 to everything else said here. Its like real estate, get what you want that you cant change with paint or a wrench, (ie Location Location = Coupe or Roadster) and then Mod whatever you dont like about the car if you have to.
Both cars are ridiculously stiff for the weekend enthusiast. Get what draws you in the most. You'll love the car either way if you are a BMW nut like the rest of us are. BUT if you have to track with BMWCCA, take the advice here about the coupe.
