I have a 2006 Tiag Z4M Roadster and my advice is not to buy the coupe because of the torsional rigidity but rather the looks, slightly more aggressive suspension settings and steering and HPDE events that do not accept convertibles.
Now, if you're anything like me, you would get a Roadster, mod it till there's no tomorrow, put the top down and go for some canyon runs. For me, this is enough to choose the roadster.
.... especially if you have played with the exhaust enough ...
