your post is hard to understand. are you saying the stock spring rates were what were recommended, or stock springs? there's 2 different things. spring rates are customized to what you want. they have a factory equivalent spring rate, which is probably what you think "stock" is. for an additional charge, you can upgrade to swift springs, and customize those spring rates as well.
i just installed mine this weekend (coupe). i went with stock 10k springs up front and stock 12k springs in the back, and it's very comfortable, but stiff. i'm really happy with the ride quality. it feels better than most coilovers i've ridden in the past.
