Congratulations!! The car looks very nice indeed!!

I would definitley apply some convertible top conditioner as noted above. However, I'd be very reluctant to dye the top, even if it is faded from black. And, I've aseen tan tops on Z4's (there is one in my town actually) so I'd check to be sure that grey was not a factory roof color for this car.
