It is probably just my imagination but I swore mine was temperature related. It seemed to only happen when I drove the car on hot days. I keep mine in the garage at all times and the lights never came on from the initial start up, only after driving and restarting the car.

Had the car back in the shop because a similar issue crept up except this time it was intermittent. Turned out the MAF sensor was replaced and the starter was also replaced. Total out of pocket................$0.00 Freakin' Awesome
